I write on a wide range of topics from the arts and environment to business and property. Amongst other publications, I write for the Telegraph, Times, Guardian, Condé Nast publications and Express - print and online.

My specialism is travel writing. I know Europe well, parts of the Caribbean and Indian Ocean - also tried out cruising - but still retain a huge fondness for the UK. I like to get under the skin of a place - find that shabby but lively square, simple but perfectly cooked meal, knock-out bedroom view - so you know I really have been there.

I'm still pretty hopeless at packing.
